Preconstruction services include design review and constructability analysis. Our role is to provide data for design/ design review mainly in the form of analysis of soil bearing capacity, chemical reactivity, rock strength and shear stress conditions, slope stability, stripping levels, grout take, groundwater conditions for dewatering programs etc.
We do this by providing site investigation design and execution. This involves various stages, e.g., geophysical surveys for quick assessment of site conditions, followed by in situ tests and invasive methods like core drilling, SPT, DCP, as required. We have appropriate equipment including coring rigs, hand augers, geoprobes, SPT hammers and DCP sets, soil resistivity meters. Where necessary we get equipment on lease.
